Inspired Montessori Living

Who I Am

Personal Bio

2 Jan

Hi. My name is Lorraine and I have been involved with teaching children for about 25 years.  It all began with homeschooling my own children in their early years. My husband, Robert, was enlisted in the U.S. Air Force at the time. Our family had the privilege of traveling throughout Europe from the mid-1980s through the mid-1990s learning that the world is a very big place with many interesting people and cultures. We were even there when the Berlin Wall came down.  Now, the children are grown and building lives of their own and my husband and I own and operate our own Montessori Preschool. I have since earned a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education along with a Primary Diploma in Montessori Education.  I enjoy gardening, flower arranging, riding horses, and, of course, writing. I invite you to join me each week as we explore how Montessori philosophy can bring beauty and joy into every day living.

Until next week,

            Lorraine
